Tomasa Tirado

Tomasa Tirado Caro, 94, of New York, NY passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025. She was born on August 19, 1930 in Rincon, Puerto Rico, to Hipolito Caro and Francis Caro Muñoz. She was married to her late husband, Antonio Tirado for 30 years, who went to be with the Lord on September, 1982. Tomasa is survived by her 5 children, Mary, LuzCeleniar, Pedro, Suzanne, and Anthony, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was the heart of her family—always willing to travel any distance to be present for those she loved. Whether it meant flying cross country or back home to Puerto Rico to lend a helping hand, showing up for important moments big or small, or simply offering quiet support, she did it all without hesitation. Her devotion was always  unwavering, and she served her family with grace, generosity, a strong hand,and a love that knew no bounds.

Her Motto to her family:

" Eat good ..sleep good... and no fighting.
