Shana Rae Gelles

Devoted and loving mother to Theo.  Beloved daughter of William Clavijo and Nancy Gonzalez. Cherished sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and mentor.  Shana loved with her whole heart.  She was incredibly empathetic and trusting.  Loved true crime podcasts, was an avid reader and dreamed of discovering the world with her son.

She had the best sense of humor, a beautiful smile and loved to dance. Her determination and inner strength was immeasurable.  After graduating from Ursuline Academy and Manhattan College she received her Masters from Mercy College... Devoted her career to teaching, caring for her students as if they were her own.  In the near future we hope to host a celebration of her life.
