Rosa was a baby boomer born in the Dominican Republic, the third child of Josefa and Dimas Reyes. Mother to Julia and Wanda, grandmother to Jasmine and Jordan, Rosa, will also be mourned by her two sisters, many nieces, especially Fifa and Suzy, her nephews, goddaughter, Hilda and many friends. Rosa lived in the Washington Heights area most of her life and the friendships that she made there were deep and lifelong. Altagracia and Violeta have been decades long neighbors and faithful and supportive friends. After retiring, Rosa volunteered for over 10 years at NY Presbyterian's Eye Clinic, mainly providing translation support to patients visiting the clinic. Rosa was a kind, generous woman of faith but one who did not suffer fools gladly. She will be deeply missed by most who knew and loved her, but especially by her daughters.
