Ray Ramos aka “Lil Lep”

Ray "Lil Lep"  Ramos, aged 61, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Bronx, NY. Born on February 13, 1963, he was a renowned breaker, known for his performances with the NYC Breakers. Ray was a vibrant soul known for his groundbreaking contributions to the world of breaking. His dynamic career included performances for presidents, royalty, and celebrities, appearances in the movie "Beat Street" and features in various music videos.

Ray’s passion for breaking was evident in his performances in nightclubs throughout New York City, where he inspired many with his innovative moves and spirited energy, leaving a legendary mark on the breaking community and breakers worldwide.

Beyond his career, Ray's life was deeply rooted in his family. He is survived by his loving sisters, Rosa, Yolanda, and Norma Ramos, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paula and Nemesio (Lin) Ramos.

A service to celebrate Ray's life will be held at Williams Funeral Home on 5628 Broadway (232nd Street), Bronx, NY, on Saturday, Nov 23, from 3–8 p.m. In the near future, Ray’s family will set up an “in memory of” to memorialize his life where you can pay tribute to help his legacy live on in a meaningful way.

Ray's legacy will continue to influence and inspire, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
