Obdulia “Lulu” Warner
Obdulia Warner, who loved to be called “Mami” by her kids, and “Lulu” by her friends and family, departed her loving family on August 5, 2021.
Lulu was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico on April 22, 1927 to Alejandrina Vasquez.
She was mother to Abigail, Anna Lisa Woods (married to: Ira) and Robert Keith Warner (Lynda). She raised her children with love and devotion in Bronx, NY with her beloved husband,
Rev. Randolph (Rafael) Warner (deceased).
As a Paraprofessional in the New York City Public Schools, Lulu was known for her kindness and love as she assisted teaching bilingual students. Her hobbies included singing Christian duets with Rafael, drawing and crocheting. She was most proud of serving with her husband as Minister’s Wife teaching children’s Sunday School, listening to concerns of congregants, and using her leadership skills in reaching out to the community. She was the rock that supported her husband’s ministry.
She is survived by her Brother: Frank Quinones; Children: Abigail, Anna Lisa and Robert; Her children in law: Ira and Lynda, Grandchildren: Nicole, Carlos, Lisanne, John, Melissa, Vanessa, Ana and Erica; Great-grands: Jacob, Kayla, Angel, Noah, Julissa, Jadalyn and Alberto.
Services will be held at Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2-7pm (wake). Memorial at 5:30pm. The burial will take place at 10am at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
