Norine Agnes Elmer

Norine A. Elmer of Greene, NY, formerly of Bronx, NY went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2022.  She was predeceased by her parents, Norine and Patrick Kelly, her brother, Patrick Kelly, sisters, Marion Ali, Katherine Schwind, Helen Stewart, son George E. Elmer, husband George Elmer, granddaughter, Marisa Elmer, and daughter Wendy Elmer. She is survived by her son, Rudy Elmer (Mary Allocca), daughter Anita Barry (Jeff), sister Teresa O'Donnell, her grandchildren, Cherylynn, George, Anisa, Jenna, Nathan, and Owen as well as great grandchildren, Tyler, Ayden and Madison and dear friend, Ann Tyson. 
Norine worked for many years at Teachers College, Columbia University before moving to Greene, NY.  She loved Elvis, BINGO, the Knicks, traveling, and all things Irish.  She had a gift for gab and loved a good chat over a cup of coffee.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Greene Emergency Squad, 30 Birdsall Street Greene, NY 13778.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, 4/14/22 from 9-11 AM at Williams Funeral Home, Bronx NY with a burial immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetary, Hawthorne, NY.
