Mona T. Petrocine

Mona T. Petrocine, age 90, of Riverdale, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born on September 13, 1934, in New York, NY, to Alfred and Bertha Cuscuna. Mona grew up in Manhattan and made Riverdale her home for over 70 years. On October 29, 1955, she married Alfonse R. Petrocine, with whom she shared a loving marriage until his passing in January 2007. Mona and Al were both proud members of Leewood Golf Club. She worked as a legal secretary for her husband until her retirement in 2005.  Mona is survived by her three children, Debra, Robert, and Theresa; her son-in-law, Raymond; and her daughter-in-law, Dana. She was a cherished grandmother to Melissa, Gregory, and Robbie, and a beloved great-grandmother to Nathan and Noah. She was a loving sister to Roma and her brother-in-law William. Mona was predeceased by her beloved sister Gilda and brother-in-law James and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in law and their spouses.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 9:45 AM at St. Margaret's Church in Riverdale.

Her family and loved ones will always remember her warmth, dedication, and the many lives she touched.
