Joseph Francis Shovelin

JOSEPH FRANCIS SHOVELIN

JOSEPH suddenly passed away on February 18, 2021.  He was born on January 9, 1967 in Donegal, Ireland.  He immigrated with his parents to New York and was a permanent resident of the Bronx.   He graduated from St. John’s Grammar School, Fordham Prep and attended Fordham University.  He was employed by  Gainsborough Studios in NYC for over 25 years.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents Bernard Shovelin and Mary Scanlan Shovelin.   Joseph is survived by many admiring cousins and friends. 

Visitation will take place Wednesday, February 24, from 2-7 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home, 5628 Broadway, Bronx, N.Y. 

A Mass on Thursday, February 25, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John’s Church, 3021 Kingsbridge Avenue, Bronx, NY, following an entombment at St. Raymond’s Cemetery 11:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association and Alzheimer’s Association.
