On Sunday, December 27, 2020 John C. Williams, loving husband of Kay for 63 years and father of three children succumbed to declining health and passed away at the age of 85. John was born in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania to the late John and Lavinia Williams. He was the youngest of five children. He served his country proudly from 1953 to 1956. John and Kay met while playing Bid Whist which was a favorite of his. Bluffing his way through the game until one day he was dealt a hand that he did not know how to play, the love of his life, Kay. They were married on a cold day, January 17, 1958 with warm hearts for each other. They were blessed with a son, John C. Williams “Kody”. Ten months later with great happiness their daughter Roxanne was born. The rest was history! Nope, much to their surprise 15 years later a big bundle of joy was born, Candice Kay, now the rest is history. John was a fine husband, family man, a great provider and a playful loving Dad. He loved family gatherings and parties. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and his son John Codell Williams. He is survived by his siblings Anna Mae Williams and Doris Martin-Warner, his dear wife Kay of 63 years, his two daughters and sons-in-law, Roxanne & Alvin and Candice & Devon. Six Grandchildren John, Jennifer “Ms. J”, Joelle, Asia, Brandon and Eden. Four Great-Grandsons John “Jay”, Cohen, Ellis and Cam Kody, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
