Isabel Jimenez

Isabel Jimenez, who was affectionately known by many of her family and close friends as Mari, passed away on September 12, 2021 after a long illness.

Isabel was born in the Dominican Republic on November 5, 1957 to Ana and Juan Jimenez. She came to New York City as a young child and lived in Washington Heights. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and worked at Harlem Hospital for 16 years. 

Isabel loved to laugh, dance, and spend time with her family and friends. She was especially known for her delicious pastelitos that she would bring to all gatherings.

She is survived by her two sons, Aramis and John Martinez; her brother, Juan Jimenez; her father, Juan Jimenez; and many cousins, nieces & nephews, and many loving friends.
