Gabriel Alicea

Gabriel Archangel Alicia, 70, of New York City, passed away on July 24, 2025.

Beloved son, brother, father, friend, and most importantly, a devoted partner of 49 years to Marcianita Morales. Gabriel was a kind and generous soul, always willing to lend a hand without expecting anything in return. His life was simple, yet deeply enriched by the things he loved: watching movies, sharing good meals, and, wait for it, hunting.

An avid outdoorsman, Gabriel looked forward to hunting season each year. For him, it wasn’t just about the thrill of the hunt, but the peace of being in nature and the joy of spending time with his friends. Whether he returned with a successful story or one of his classic tales, like the time he fell asleep on the ground and woke up to a curious deer staring him down, those memories became part of his legacy.

Gabriel, if you can hear us: you will be missed. 

Viewing hours will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in The Bronx.
