Florence C Callanan

Florence C. Callanan- Flynn of the Bronx, NY passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026 at the age of 78.

She devoted her life to her family, her community, and the values she held dear. She was known for her kindness, her steady wisdom, and the quiet strength that made her a source of comfort to everyone who knew her.  She is leaving behind a legacy of generosity, humor, and boundless love.

To know her was to feel welcomed. She had a gift for making every person feel seen—whether through a perfectly timed joke, or the way she remembered the little details that mattered. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her steady kindness, and the love she shared so freely. 

If you knew Flo, you know how much she loved sports — especially football. Honestly, she’d watch anything that involved a scoreboard. When she was younger, she was a serious bowler too; she even appeared on Bowling for Dollars.

She is survived by her sister Meryl Paradiso, her nieces Laura Vasquez and Tina Cimino, her great nieces Mallory  Entrieri, Brianna Vasquez and her two brand new great niece Berkeley Vasquez and Josie Entrieri, her nephew John Vasquez, great nephew Daniel Vasquez,  Anthony Zapata, Jaxson Vasquez, Nolan Vasquez,  Declan Vasquez and Rudy Entrieri who will forever cherish her memory and the love she so generously gave.

She is Preceded in death by her mother Florence Styles, her sisters Carol Lynch and Kathleen Flynn, her brother James Flynn.

Her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering love will remain with us always.  She will be deeply missed.
