Edward Michael "Eddie" Hallam, 47, passed away on August 21, 2024, in Bronx, New York. Born on June 5, 1977, in New York, Eddie lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and dedication to his loved ones and community.
Eddie spent 25 years as a Superintendent of Buildings, a role in which he excelled and brought his characteristic diligence and care. He was not only respected in his profession but also deeply cherished by those who worked alongside him.
A true people person, Eddie had an infectious sense of humor and a knack for making everyone around him laugh. His presence was a source of joy and comfort to many. Eddie's love for hockey was profound. He played as a goalie and wore the number 35 jersey with pride, bringing the same passion and commitment to the ice that he did to every aspect of his life.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sabrina, his son Vincent, his daughter Anjanette, and his siblings Randy, Gail, Debbie, Donny, and Diana and his Stepfather Donald Hallam Sr. He also leaves behind a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Lawson, and father, Edward Valluzzi.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eddie's memory can be made to local charities, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to helping those in need. Eddie's legacy of laughter, love, and generosity will continue to inspire and resonate with all who knew him.
