Daisy Dolores Nunez

Not enough words can express the depths of our loss, a legendary icon, an old school lady, our mother; Daisy Dolores Nunez closed her beautiful eyes for the last time on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 8:58pm at the age of 83. Born in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. She lived her best years in the BIG APPLE, New York City.  Beloved wife of Jose Antonio Nunez  has claimed her Heavenly reward.  She was no doubt welcomed into the gates of Heaven with 'Well done, my good and faithful servant.'      

Our beloved Mom was always full of love, joy and laughter, never displaying an ounce of selfishness rather forever showing tenderness, kindness and compassion and giving her best to her loved ones.  Mom always made sure to help those in need, whether it would be with a cup of coffee or with some encouraging words.   She made sure you felt better then when you walked in.  Always quick with stories and recollections of her life, Daisy was a prayer warrior and a wise counsel who will sorely be missed by many.  She was a supportive and dedicated wife, providing guidance whenever and wherever needed.  With a servant's heart for missions and those in need, she worked tirelessly.  Her laugh and keen insights will be held in our hearts until we meet again.  You will never be forgotten! 

Daisy - affectionately known as Daisita, was a devoted spouse, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and god grandmother.

Daisy is survived by Daughters, Daisy Josefina Nunez and Arelis del Carmen Nunez; Son, Ramfis Antonio Nunez; Grandsons: Charles Batista, Danny Barbosa, Christopher Luis Barbosa, Freddy Rafael Peña, Bryan Nunez, Ramfis Aristotle Nunez, Ramfis Rhadames Nunez; Granddaughters: Francine Cocco, Jennifer Aponte, Lissette Naas and Dominique Antoinette Nunez; Great Grandchildren: Charles Batista, Jr., Victoria Batista, Dani Gabriela Barbosa, Crystal Nicole Vargas, Alexandra Barbosa, Catalina Barbosa, Riley Barbosa, Destinee Jolane Barbosa, Christopher Luis Barbosa, Jr.; Great-great Grandchildren: Alison Peña, Aliah Elizabeth Cocco, Hunter Hierro, Anais Chanel Cocco and Valentina Naas.

Daisy has gone to paradise to join her beloved husband Jose Antonio Nunez, her eldest daughter Elizabeth Antonia Nunez, her granddaughter Jennifer Arelis Aponte as well as her parents Ernesto Antonio Polanco and Luisa Marina Minier.

Nacida en Santiago de Los Caballeros, República Dominicana. Vivió sus mejores años en la GRAN MANZANA, Nueva York. La querida esposa de José Antonio Núñez ha reclamado su recompensa celestial. Sin duda, fue recibida en las puertas del Cielo con "Bien hecho, mi buena y fiel sierva".

Nuestra amada madre siempre estuvo llena de amor, alegría y risas, nunca mostrando una onza de egoísmo, sino mostrando para siempre ternura, amabilidad y compasión y dando lo mejor de sí a sus seres queridos. Mami siempre se aseguraba de ayudar a los necesitados, ya fuera con una taza de café o con algunas palabras alentadoras. Se aseguró de que te sintieras mejor que cuando entraste. Siempre rápida con las historias y recuerdos de su vida, Daisy fue una guerrera de oración y un sabio consejo que muchos echarán de menos. Era una esposa solidaria y dedicada, proporcionando orientación cuando y donde fuera necesario. Con el corazón de un sirviente para las misiones y los necesitados, trabajó incansablemente. Su risa y sus agudas ideas se mantendrán en nuestros corazones hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar. ¡Nunca serás olvidado!

Daisy, conocida cariñosamente como Daisita, era una esposa devota, madre amorosa, abuela, bisabuela y dios abuela.

A Daisy le sobreviven Hijas, Daisy Josefina Núñez y Arelis del Carmen Núñez; Hijo, Ramfis Antonio Núñez; Nietos: Charles Batista, Danny Barbosa, Christopher Luis Barbosa, Freddy Rafael Peña, Bryan Núñez, Ramfis Aristóteles Núñez, Ramfis Rhadames Núñez; Nietas: Francine Alexandra Cocco, Jennifer Aponte, Lissette Naas y Dominique Antoinette Núñez; Bisnietos: Charles Batista, Jr., Victoria Batista, Dani Gabriela Barbosa, Crystal Nicole Vargas, Alexandra Barbosa, Catalina Barbosa, Riley Barbosa, Destinee Jolane Barbosa, Christopher Luis Barbosa, Jr. ; Bisnietos: Alison Peña, Aliah Elizabeth Cocco, Hunter Hierro, Anais Chanel Cocco y Valentina Naas.

Daisy se ha ido al paraíso para unirse a su amado esposo José Antonio Núñez, su hija mayor Elizabeth Antonia Núñez, su nieta Jennifer Arelis Aponte, así como sus padres Ernesto Antonio Polanco y Luisa Marina Minier.
