Charles "Charlie" McReynolds was a devoted father, brother, uncle, friend and grandfather of six. He left this world on April 23, 2022 surrounded by his three loving children.
Charlie was born to Charles and Helen McReynolds on March 25, 1950. He was raised in Washington Heights with his charismatic sisters, Sarah and Mary Helen, and his witty brother Martin. Charlie later joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably in the Vietnam War. He then married his former wife, Linda, with whom he had three children: Wade, Amanda and Charles. Charlie landed his dream job as a teacher with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He spent decades commuting from Poughkeepsie to Manhattan making friends, telling jokes, and doing the job he loved every day.
Charlie leaves behind his three adoring children and their families, his cherished niece and nephew: Michelle and Craig and their families, and countless coworkers and friends.
