Alphonso Fraser

Alphonso Fraser lived on this earth for 87 years. Born to Sydney and Brooksie Fraser, he was the first born of four children. He was born in Harlem, NY and remained a resident of New York his entire life.

Alphonso was a dignified man who lived life on his own terms. For many years he served as a valued Manager with the Kraushaar Art Gallery in NY until he retired. He admired the transformative elegance of art.

Serving God was Alphonso’s passion. In his capacity of Elder with the Jehovah Witness Organization, he impacted many lives. He enjoyed sharing the Good News and leading others to Kingdom Living. Exhortation, Education, and Evangelism were the hallmarks of his ministry. Wisdom, joy, and humor fueled his speech and teaching. Mr. Fraser enjoyed mentoring young people into leadership positions as they served Jehovah and fulfilled Kingdom Business.
 

Alphonso was preceded in death by Ethel, his wife of 50 plus years and his son Troy. He was a beloved man who will be missed by his family, friends, and community.
