Kerian Joseph Marcinkus, son of Joseph and Lucy (née Kaczynski) was born on June 15, 1948 in the Bronx, New York. Kerry passed away from lung cancer on November 29, 2019, after a long and courageous fight. A lifelong resident of the Bronx, he grew up in the Edenwald Houses and spent his childhood summers on his cousin’s horse farm in Coal Township, Pennsylvania. Kerry graduated from Evander Childs high school in 1966 and attended Woodstock music festival in August 1969. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, the beach and the sun, riding motorcycles, drum corps, his football Giants and Yankees, and, most of all, his family. Kerry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marion Loretta (née Mahoney), his sons David James (Elizabeth Hellmuth) and Steven Joseph (Kasey), his grandchildren Marilyn Loretta and John Theodore, his five brothers in law, James, Michael, Kevin, Thomas and William, his sister in law Alice and six nieces and nephews (Tricia, Elizabeth, James, Quinn, Dylan and Benjamin).
