Isaac Morgan Obituary

Isaac (Ike) Charles Morgan, passed away peacefully at Milstein Hospital in Manhattan on October 9, 2019. He was 84 years old. Isaac was born in Hamburg, Alabama, the first of nine children of George and Everleaner (Gray) Morgan. After graduating from Cleveland Tech High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in July 1955. He married his high school sweetheart, Lonnie Mae Ellison on December 31, 1955. Assigned to the North American Aerospace Defense command, he served 20 years as a computer technician. He then spent ten years with the department of defense prior to retiring in 1986. He was an avid sports fan and fisherman. He had a special passion for jazz music, and also enjoyed traveling. He is survived by Lonnie, his wife of 64 years; two brothers, one sister, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, two daughters and two sons and their spouses, 8 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
