Rush, Ellen (Nee Barnes). Beloved wife of the late James. Beloved Mother of James, Maggie, Mary, Tony, Ellie and the late Christopher.  Ellen graduated from Lehman College Magna Cum Laude and attended Fordham University. She was also a poet in the Yeats Society and a singer. Beloved sister of Christopher of Belfast, North Ireland. Beloved Aunt of Gerard, his family and Kathleen. Loving grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother of many. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in England. Wake to be held at Williams Funeral Home, Inc. Bronx, NY. Monday, July 9th. From 1-9 PM. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 10th, 10:45 AM at St. Margaret of Cortona's Church, Riverdale, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
