Beloved sister, aunt, activist, teacher, and generous spirit Diane Ostrofsky passed away peacefully on April 17. Her strength and perseverance in the face of adversity will always be remembered with admiration and respect. She is survived by a wide circle of friends and family who loved her dearly and will miss her forever. Diane's cousins David and Ronda Kotelchuck will hold an open house on Sunday afternoon May 5 for those who wish to visit, share remembrances of Diane or simply be with others who loved and will miss her. You are welcome anytime from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at their apartment, 70 West 95th Street (Columbus Avenue & 95th Street), Apt. 7C, New York, NY. The occasion will be quite informal and no one should feel pressured to come, especially those who would have to travel. There are many ways, personal and social, to celebrate Diane’s life; this is just one of them. Please feel free to join us. Make it your lunch, or dinner, or anything in between! Come with stories, remembrances or just to visit with friends and family. And if you know others whom we may have missed and who might like to come, please just invite them.
