Desmond O'Brien (Desi) passed away into eternal life on 9/11/2018. Native of Carrickfad Co. Leitrim Ireland. Former husband of Mary (nee Stack) O'Brien and Beloved father of Sean and Michael. Fond son of the late Ted O'Brien and Ann McTernan. Loving brother of Patricia, Hughie, Kevin, Sheamus, Mary, Gabriel, Theresa and the late Gerald and Terence.  Family will receive friends on Friday 9/14/2018 from 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial Saturday 9/15/2018 at 9:30 a.m. St. Barnabas Church 409 E. 241st St.  Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
